Vanessa Ashcroft

                                      Vanessa Ashcroft's March 2007 Solo Exhibition - WOOLLOOMOOLOO AND THE WHARF -  was her 5th
                                      at Harris Courtin Gallery.

                                      Her creative imagination throws a stimulating new light on the world around us, with her vision of an
                                      abstracted landscape, the urban environment, a still-life, or a perceptive view of the human figure.
                                      Her current body of work testifies to a further growth of her exciting talent, as she explores fresh
                                      avenues of image making.

                                      Before becoming a full time artist nine years ago, Vanessa was a successful fashion designer
                                      and manufacturer, with her own label.

                                      She currently teaches drawing, painting and mixed media at the Ku-ring-gai Art Centre, Sydney,
                                      and for several years also taught at the Willoughby Workshop Art Centre, Sydney.

                                      Her paintings are in collections in Australia, the Netherlands, Japan, New Zealand, Hong Kong,
                                      Canada, Singapore, the USA and the UK. She is represented in Australia by Harris Courtin Gallery.
