                      Kerry Gulliver

Kerry Gulliver grew up in Armidale and Tamworth and moved to Sydney to attend Art School in 1975, the inaugural year of the Diploma in Art at Alexander Mackie CAE (now College of Fine Arts, UNSW).

Her graduation in 1978 was followed by training in Architectural Drafting, Graphic Design, and other studies in the fine arts, which enabled her to work in animation (film and advertising) in Sydney and London, as both colour stylist and production coordinator.

Her passion, however, has always been for painting. Since 1990 she has held ten Solo Exhibitions, including three at the New England Regional Art Museum in Armidale (1998, 2003, 2006) and also in 2003 at the Tamworth Regional Gallery. She has participated in numerous Group shows and Exhibitions by Selection.

Her first Solo Exhibition at Harris Courtin Gallery (March 2008) showcases her original take on the Australian bush, especially in the moods and rhythms of the New England Region of New South Wales, where she now lives and works.
